I stayed 5 nights in a Budget Single Room. The mansion has a fine art ceiling in the breakfast hall. Super close to the main train station and Ballaro' market. The room was clean and quite spacious. Plus, the staff were really friendly 😊

My rollercoaster experience!

Really good location beside the vibrant Ballarò market! Breakfast included tasty savory options like sausage rolls and ham!

Street noise can be quite disturbing at night! No hairdryer in the room, and although the staff was friendly, there was a noticeable lack of assistance when no one was at the front desk.

Really had great stay for one night at the Orientale. Clean venue with magnificent location to the opera at the Teatre Massimo. Fresh food for all meals. Budget, reasonably large rooms provided with a balcony, air-con plus pastries. Very helpful and nice staffs, gave a few recommendations.

Rooms are impressively clean with a decent bathroom setup right across the hall, which, despite its oddity, was super clean and spacious.

The absence of a kettle or tea-making facilities is frustrating. This is not ideal for anyone needing help with bags. The street noise is serious-loud vehicles outside can infringe on a good night's sleep, especially with old windows that don't do much to block sound.

Great spot for a group trip! We loved the close proximity to the old market and the opera house. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the historic vibes brought so much charm. The staff were super friendly and helpful!

We found that the street noise was pretty overwhelming at night, hard to sleep at times.
